Frequently Asked Questions

What courts do you practice in?

Though my office is in Columbus, I travel across Ohio for cases in Common Pleas, Municipal, and Mayor's Courts. I am also admitted to practice in Federal Court in both the Southern and Northern Districts of Ohio.

How do fees work?

Most fees are set at a flat rate on a case by case basis. Factors considered in setting a fee include the nature of the case or charge, the jurisdiction, and the criminal history of the client.

Is there a fee to schedule a consultation?

It is important that you have an opportunity to speak with a potential lawyer, preferably in person, before deciding who to hire. A first meeting is a time for a prospective client and lawyer to discuss the case and the scope of potential representation. There is no fee to schedule an initial consultation at my office or over the phone.
